The Board’s Board

Ashley Wells, Chair

Ashley W.'s tSB Board of Directors bio photoAshley Wells was recruited to the board by tSB’s Executive Director, Ashley Miller, and blames the confusion this causes at meetings on Ashley taking a guy’s name. He is excited to continue a family tradition of contributing to his community. Ashley moved to Seattle in 2000 to work at msnbc.com’s Redmond headquarters and is currently the company’s Vice President of Creative Development. As a journalist, web designer/developer, manager and executive, Ashley brings business savvy and creativity to tSB. In his spare time, Ashley enjoys skiing, surfing, live music and long walks on the beach.

EJ Kim, Treasurer

EJ's tSB Board of Directors bio photoEJ first discovered tSB through her friends Sarah, a tSB mentor, and Pai, a member of tSB’s Board of Directors. An avid snowboarder and natural mentor herself, tSB quickly captured EJ’s heart, especially after seeing first hand the organization’s impact on youth. Born in Korea and raised in Seattle from her teenage years on, EJ brings over 20 years experience as a financial professional, entrepreneur and mentor to the tSB board. When not snowboarding or volunteering, EJ is the founder of EJK Accounting & Tax, a Seattle firm specializing in accounting and bookkeeping services for small businesses, non-profits and mission-based companies.

Lindsay Davis, Secretary

The Boards BoardLindsay is a Seattle-area native with 15 years of experience in youth development, most recently at a similar organization to tSB. Now that she’s transitioned to a fundraising role at Treehouse, she couldn’t help but get involved with the tSBoard! She’s become a part of the board’s Events Task Force, so come say hi at one of the awesome tSB events! Other than that, and at work, you can usually find Lindsay in one of three places: in the mountains snowboarding or backpacking, at the dog park, or snuggled up at home watching a movie with her hubbie and two dog-children.

Tracey Budden

Tracey's tSB Board of Directors bio photoAfter attending the art walk with students during the summer in arts program, Tracey was hooked. Awed by the insight and confidence the students possessed, she wanted to help tSB reach as many youth as possible in the Seattle community.Tracey’s involvement with youth organizations is not new: she served on the marketing committee of St. Joseph’s Villa in Richmond, Virginia and more recently volunteered in the Dominican Republic, mentoring children in the Barahona region of the country in February of 2010. Since moving to Seattle in 2007, she has worked as a communications strategist on both national and global advertising campaigns. Tracey is also happy to report that as a result of joining the tSBoard, the winter of 2009-2010 was her first time shredding.
